This morning at 9:15 am we had cross country. Before we had cross country, it started to rain a little bit. So we went into the hall sitting in our year groups. As we sat down Mrs O'shea and Miss Green gave us instructions while we were waiting for the rain to stop. When it stopped, we started to do the cross country again starting with the year 6 boys. As they stood up they went behind the cones ready to run. When the whistle blew, the boys went rushing to win. Some year 6 boys fell but they got up again and ran. We ran down Rangeview Road as the parents were looking out for us then we ran around the field where Halberg park. Some people were so exhausted that they got dehydrated. When people made it to the finish line, everyone was cheered really loud. Parents and relievers looked out for us, just for our safety. Some of the students ran and some of them jogged so it will be easy for them. Some ran faster because they thought they could get 1st place but they stopped halfway to get their breath back. Everyone was running to get fit and healthy. After the run, I was so exhausted and in pain but it was still a good run.
